ANGER AS ART Featured In PLAYBOY Magazine

August 29, 2007

ANGER AS ART, the Los Angeles-based thrash metal band featuring Steve Gaines (ABATTOIR, BLOODLUST, PAGAN WAR MACHINE, DREAMS OF DAMNATION),has scheduled a couple of one-off shows over the next two weeks. First up is Friday, August 31 at the Relax Bar in Hollywood, where they will be co-headlining with AGENT STEEL (this room has a capacity of 100). On Saturday, September 8, ANGER AS ART will headline at Club Vegas in Salt Lake City, Utah. Both of the band's albums (on Old School Metal Records) will be for sale at the shows.

In other news, ANGER AS ART was recently featured in the Mexican edition of Playboy magazine (the July 2007 issue, with Lauren Sugihara on the cover).

Commented Gaines: "Funny, now I can honestly say that I was reading it for the articles. We have no business being in Playboy — we are hideous to look at, and certainly not 'stylish.' So it's really cool for us, and for thrash metal."
